Hospital

It’s always an interesting time at the hospital. I have a weird fear of hospitals and how sterile they are. (Don’t get me wrong, the sterility is net good.) The experience can be disorienting with the bright lights and the maze of hallways and rooms.

In recent years, I’ve been to the hospital a few times: my own medical issue once, and childbirth twice. Throw in a few pre-birth classes and visits, as well as the fact that my wife used to work in a hospital setting, and my visits have really tallied up.

There’s a weird dichotomy of dated furniture and finishes amongst modern equipment, bright lights, chipper staff. I know not every visit is all smiles. Recently, for me, it has been good.
