An aside, perhaps – I’m not terribly comfortable opening up about every little detail of my life on a publicly accessible website. But it should be noted that I have a bunch of life changes coming up.
On Monday, we will welcome our second child into the world. My employer will give me a generous* chunk of parental leave, and when I return, I’m going to be starting in a new role.
These are some rather jarring life changes that are happening at the same time. Last time I changed employers, I moved across the country to start over. I guess I’m just into big life changes occurring at the same time.
* generous for a US based employer, anyway.
