Sedalia Water Tank

Close to my house, there is a steel water tank that is on the national register of historic places. Wikipedia has more. I actually discovered this with the Wikipedia “Nearby” special page.

If you are driving on US-85, you pass it every time you go through Sedalia, CO. I’ve never stopped to notice it previously, but now I can’t miss it. It is also known as the Santa Fe Railway Water Tank, and it is a relic of an era of freight rail that probably won’t return.
